Stirling Engine

Japanese

Today, as a general power source, internal combustion engines like a gasoline engine or a diesel engine is widely used. However, exhaust gas that these engines discharge contaminates the atmosphere or environmental pollution of a noise becomes an object of public concern.

Stirling engine is external combustion engine, on the other hand, then its exhaust gas is very clean and it works very quietly compared with internal combustion engines. From being external combustion engine further, not only petroleum, can use all heat-source, hotly terrestrial heat, hot springs. From such a characteristic, Stirling engines are researched and developed on as an engine of the next generation, and it is expected to be made practicable.
